Not all courses are mapped yet. In Denver, about 70% of the courses are mapped. But of the 15-20 that users play regularly, about 95% are mapped. Many of those that are not mapped yet are scheduled to be mapped in 2008. Moreover, there are no limits as to how many courses you can download each year with no membership free system, you only pay for the courses that your want. Also, users can always request a course to be mapped. Once you request a course to be mapped, it is added to the list of courses to be mapped. User can sign up to be notified when the course they requested has been mapped. Lastly, each courses that users download works only on the uPro unit.
Does the Callaway uPro have a guarantee?

The uPro is guaranteed against manufacture defects for a period of 6 months from date of purchase. Normal wear and tear is not covered. Besides that, if the device is deemed defective and within the warranty period, the device will be repaired or replaced free of charge. As its option, Callaway may replace the product with a new or refurbished product. This process can take between 7 to 10 business days. Once users’ warranty claim isn’t approved, they will return the uPro to the users. Callaway uPro do not offer any replacement insurance as well. Lastly, users do not need to purchase the courses that they have already downloaded. The lost, stolen or damaged unit needs to be deactivated. Once it’s deactivated, the new unit will be activated for your account and users will be able to use the courses again.
Are there any problems with the callaway upro?

The are some problems with the Callaway uPro such as small screen makes Pro mode distances and measurement features difficult to read, even in largest font setting, without reading glasses and occasionally takes too much time for GPS to settle on a distances during a round. When it settles the distance is accurate, but sometime users had to guess at yardage because the displayed yardage was slowly changing and not final. Other minor problems include some of fly-over images lack brilliance. Courses are mapped via satellite so some bunkers are hidden by tree canopy in video mode. Besides that, some users have problems and trouble linking the GPS unit to their PC and once linked the unit syncs as well.
